turboTEM Debuts Horizon for High-Throughput Volume EM

At the cryoDuck B.V. Tokyo Days conference, our CEO, Lewys Jones introduced the Horizon Wide Format Objective Lens — turboTEM’s new wafer-scale TEM imaging system, designed to dramatically increase throughput for Volume Electron Microscopy (Volume EM).

Supporting 100 mm wafer, Horizon enables high-throughput processing in the range of 50 to 300+ samples in a single load, improving workflow efficiency without compromising high-resolution imaging performance.

Built for applications including connectomics, advanced biological research, material science and beyond. Horizon combines wide-area imaging with nanometer precision to support the next generation of high-volume electron microscopy.

Designed and manufactured in Ireland with full traceability and rigorous inspection standards, Horizon represents a significant step forward in scalable TEM imaging.
