turboTEM brings wafer-scale imaging capabilities
turboTEM has partnered with the Allen Institute for Brain Science to bring wafer-scale imaging workflows for Volume EM —enabling large volumes of sections to be imaged in a single run, without repeated sample handling.
With specially designed wafers and Horizon, a first-of-its-kind wide-format objective lens, researchers can tailor setups to diverse imaging needs while dramatically increasing throughput.
By leveraging specially designed wafers available in a range of configurations and perforation sizes, users can tailor their setup to suit diverse imaging requirements. At the core of this innovation is Horizon, a wide-format objective lens and the first of its kind to support wafer-level workflows within a TEM environment.
Together, these advances dramatically increase throughput while simplifying the imaging process, opening new possibilities for high-resolution, high-volume research in neuroscience and beyond.
